Week 1!

We have completed our first week back at SJA! 

During the month of September, the JK to Grade 3 students will be participating in a series of cooperative games to learn more about their classmates, learn how to follow rules and take responsibility, and most importantly, how to cooperate with their classmates! 

During the first week of school the JKs and SKs played Simon Says, Red Light Green Light, and Octopus. They are learning very quickly how to listen and follow instructions. 

The Grade 1s, 2s and 3s played Red Light Green Light, Octopus, Ship to Shore and PacMan Tag. 

These games allowed the students to enhance their communication skills by listening for instructions and responding by doing the corresponding action. Students also learned how to cooperate with their peers and build relationships through these interactive games.
